Statutory cancellation rights
You have a statutory right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it. The 14 days start from the day after the day you receive your order.
You can cancel by contacting us via email at sales@blancapress.co.uk
You must return the products to us, at your own risk and cost, within 14 days of notifying us of your cancellation. If the products are unsuitable for return by post (eg they are large or heavy), please contact us to arrange their collection by courier. You will be responsible for this cost.
We will refund the full purchase price together with the standard outbound delivery charge paid within 14 days of receiving the returned products. The products must be in a fully resalable condition. If they are not, eg if they have been used, damaged or handled more than they would have reasonably been in a shop, the amount refunded to you may be reduced. We will only refund the cost of standard delivery. If you chose to pay for an alternative delivery service, the additional cost will not be refunded.
Nothing above affects your statutory right to return any product which is faulty, damaged or incorrect.
If an item is delivered faulty
Please let us know within 14 days of delivery if an item you receive is faulty. If this is the case, we will arrange collection/replacement, at our own cost. This only applies to faults which are detected at the time of purchase.
Any electrical items which have been used for a period of 30 days or more cannot be returned for any reason other than a fault having developed. If a fault does occur, we will repair or replace the item in line with your consumer rights. If you have purchased a press, you should keep the box and polystyrene packaging that it was delivered in as there is a charge to provide a replacement. If the press is not returned in the correct packaging and is damaged in transit, you will be responsible for this additional repair cost.
Our couriers will attempt delivery up to a maximum of 3 times. If a customer is not at their home /business on each attempt, the courier will return the goods to us. In the event of this occurring, we will charge the cost of shipping, each way, for the order. This is non-negotiable and the charges will be deducted from the refund applied to your order.
If an item develops a fault while under warranty
If an item develops a fault, contact us to arrange for its collection and for a quote for the carriage charge for which you will be liable as this cost is not covered under the warranty. If you have not kept the box and original polystyrene packaging there will be an addition cost for its replacement. If the press is not returned in the correct packaging and is damaged in transit, you will be responsible for this additional repair cost. Faults caused by general wear and tear, accidental damage or machine misuse, are not covered under the warranty.
If an item develops a fault out of the warranty period
If the item is no longer under warranty, or is not covered by the warranty due to the fault being caused by general wear and tear, accidental damage or machine misuse, contact us to arrange its collection and repair. You will be advised of the repair cost prior to any work being carried out.
